We live in some very interesting times. Lower priced cameras are now really coming along leaps and bounds over their predecessors, and in the professional sector new cameras such as Red Digital Cinema, Sillicon Imaging, and noX are promising 35mm quality at a price many companies will find hard to resist.

At the end of the day though, no matter what the capability of the camera, raw skills of operation are what makes a good picture. We can't all be perfect all of the time. From the lowliest family gathering, all the way up to multi million Dollar feature films, the core techniques for obtaining great pictures are the same. Good planning, a good eye, good sound, good editing, and some creativty.
