Things I really, really hate about Final Cut Pro 
Final Cut Pro might well be one of the most popular NLE's in the world. But it can also be totally infuriating. Here are some of my pet hates.
Forum culture
Having been banned from two of the best known video forums, here is my take on online forum culture.
Bokeh Porn
If this decade will be known for anything in the video world it will be because of two things. The first is the transition to tapeless production. The second is that nobody seems to make proper programmes anymore, and instead we are subject to an endless stream of "camera tests" with shallow depth of field (whoopee f***ing doo!)
The elimination of stills cameras
Will video and stills converge. NO is the answer if I have anything to do with it!
Do you want to sell me something or not?
High end video suppliers, you would have thought, would be the most courteous people around. Why? Well, they do after all sell the creme de la creme of video products. Products which cost the earth
The inverse proportion rule
SIV's can be one of the most lucrative ways of making money from video. Some people have literally made their fortunes from making videos on specialist subjects. So, that's that then. Let's all grab
